Serène - la maison d'hôtes

The peace and quiet, the forest, good home cooking and homemade ice cream will be among the highlights of your vacation album. Gîtes and chambres d'hôtes are the perfect setting for a home-stay, delicious table d'hôte meals, home-style breakfasts or relaxing by the pool.

The Maison d'hôtes de Serène can also be transformed into a large gîte. You can find Le Grand Serène with reference G1796 on Gîtes de France.

Those who wish to do so can discover life on the farm, or explore the many hiking trails that criss-cross the Grésigne and the high plateaux of the Pays de Vaour, or take advantage of the forest paths on the property. The Ferme de Serène is just below the guesthouse. Here you can see the herd of Aubrac cows, with their calves raised in their mother's womb, and the Périgord black pigs.

Serène is a magnificent stone property perched on a hillside, a former farm of the Templiers de Vaour, below the village on the road to Itzac. Nestled in a valley, facing a small cirque of wooded ridges, it exudes a sense of calm and serenity.



** THE GUESTHOUSE**
Serène is a large building housing the owners in one wing, and the bed & breakfast section in another wing of the house. A large living room of 100m² is available to guests. Access to the rooms is from this space, without passing through the owners' house. At your disposal:
- the large living room is bathed in light thanks to its bay windows. The wooden beams and stone walls will charm you!
- the covered terrace at the back of the living room, where you can enjoy breakfast in fine weather, with a view over the valley.
- the guesthouse kitchen is freely accessible, as the owners have their own kitchen at home

Breakfast is of course included in the room rate. Open your taste buds: homemade jam, morning cake, fruit, local juices, cheese...
