The hamlet of Comberougé lies 2 km from Brassac, at the foot of Mountain Redon, in a natural setting typical of the Tarn mountains. The area offers a backdrop of cool forests, winding lanes and authentic villages that will appeal to lovers of peace and wide-open spaces. Staying here gives you privileged access to the Rochers du Sidobre, a site unique in Europe, where improbable granite boulders seem to be balanced in the middle of the woods. Brassac, on the banks of the River Agout, boasts an old bridge, lively alleyways, shops and the atmosphere of a mountain village, while the Monts de Lacaune and the great lakes of the Tarn offer a wide range of activities, from supervised swimming at Lake Raviège to water sports and Hiking. Castres is only 15 minutes away, with its Gourjade park, Piscine, ice rink and colorful facades lining the Agout river. Housed in an old stone coach house, the Holiday cottage offers a warm and functional interior for two or three people. The first floor is organized around a large 32 m² living area with a well-equipped open-plan kitchen with ceramic hob and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, washing machine, etc... The lounge area, with TV and sofa bed, is a pleasant place to relax after a day out. The shower room with toilet completes the layout of this level. The sleeping area is on a 16 m2 mezzanine accessible via a wooden staircase, under a warm wooden roof: - bedroom with bed 140x190 - bedroom with bed 90x190 A cot can be provided on request. Outside, a 600 m² garden and a space in front of the door allow you to enjoy the peace and quiet of the hamlet, whether over a meal, a barbecue or in a deckchair. The terrace is a pleasant extension of outdoor activities, and Hiking trails start from the house and lead to the nearby Forest. This accommodation is ideal for travelers looking for tranquility, nature and an ideal base from which to explore the varied landscapes of the Tarn. Extra charge: bed linen rental and end-of-stay cleaning service No wifi connection in the gîte, but 5G is available.
