At the edge of the vast Forest de Grésigne, at the end of a path that leads deep into the woods, crosses a stream and then winds its way up a quiet valley, you'll find a charming old stone house: the Holiday cottage de Montgach. An ideal place to recharge your batteries, surrounded by peace and nature. It's not unusual to spot hinds, roe deer or stags on the edge of the wood.

The Holiday cottage enjoys a privileged position, close to Puycelsi, Bruniquel and Penne, in the heart of the Bastides Albigeoises circuit. Just 30 km away, you can discover Albi and its Episcopal City, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Nearby, the villages of Castelnau-de-Montmiral, the Aveyron Gorge and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val offer beautiful walks, a famous Sunday Market and numerous outdoor activities, including canoeing. Your hosts will also be happy to guide you to the best winegrowers in the Gaillacois region.

Completely independent, Montgach is a restored 19th-century farmhouse set on a hillside overlooking the Vineyard and the Albigensian plain. On a clear day, the view stretches as far as the Mountain Noire and the Lacaune Mountains, for a breathtaking panorama.
On the first floor, a bright living room opens onto a fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, 4-burner gas hob, microwave, filter and Senséo coffee maker, etc... A separate toilet completes this level.

Upstairs, three comfortable bedrooms await you, each with a 140×190cm double bed, a shower room and a second toilet.

A wood-burning stove adds a cosy atmosphere to evenings in the Holiday cottage.
