On the edge of the vast Grésigne Forest, at the end of a path that winds through the woods, crosses a stream, and then winds its way up a quiet valley, stands a charming old stone house: the Montgach holiday cottage. It’s the perfect place to recharge your batteries, surrounded by peace and nature. It’s not uncommon to spot does, roe deer, or stags at the edge of the woods.

The holiday cottage enjoys a prime location, very close to Puycelsi, Bruniquel, and Penne, in the heart of the Albigeoises Bastides circuit. About thirty kilometers away, you can explore Albi and its Cité Épiscopale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nearby, the villages of Castelnau-de-Montmiral, the Aveyron Gorges, and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val offer beautiful walks, a renowned Sunday Market, and numerous outdoor activities, including canoeing. Your hosts will also be happy to guide you to the best winemakers in the Gaillac region.

Completely self-contained, Montgach is a restored 19th-century farmhouse, nestled on a hillside overlooking the Gaillac Vineyards and the Albi plain. On a clear day, the view stretches all the way to the Mountain Noire and the Monts de Lacaune, offering a breathtaking panorama.
On the ground floor, a bright living room opens wide onto a fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, 4-burner gas stove, microwave, drip coffee maker, and Senseo machine, etc. A separate half-bath completes this level.

Upstairs, three comfortable bedrooms await you, each furnished with a 140×190 cm double bed, as well as a bathroom and a second toilet.
