Situated in Mailhoc, a charming village on a plateau between the medieval city of Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi la Rouge, this Holiday cottage is ideally located for exploring this corner of the Tarn, between Bastides and Vineyard. Discover the Episcopal City of Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its brick Sainte-Cécile cathedral, the Palais de la Berbie and the Saint-Salvy cloister. Further north, Cordes-sur-Ciel invites you to stroll through its steep streets, steeped in history and legend. Around Mailhoc, the Gaillac vineyards reveal themselves through family estates where the winemakers are keen to share their know-how, making this a wonderful immersion in France's oldest vineyard.
The Holiday cottage, adjoining the owners' house at the rear, has its own independent access, guaranteeing your peace and quiet. It comfortably accommodates two or three people.
On the first floor, you'll enjoy a bright living room with TV, opening onto a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and several types of coffeemaker. An adjoining laundry room provides real convenience, with washing machine and cleaning kit, and is complemented by a toilet.
Upstairs, you'll find an air-conditioned bedroom (one 160x200 bed + one 90x200 bed) and a bathroom with shower and washbasin.
Outside, you'll enjoy a pleasant private garden and a terrace adjoining the kitchen, ideal for summer meals.
The large 16mx11m diamond-shaped swimming pool, shared with the owners, is a real asset on sunny days.
Private parking makes arrival easy. The Holiday cottage is not equipped with wifi, but the fiber picks up very well from the garden.
Bed linen and towels are provided, and end-of-stay cleaning is included for a stress-free stay.

Amoureux des moments simples et du temps partagé en famille, Ève et Étienne vivent et travaillent ici avec leurs deux garçons, Maïa leur douce chienne (un dogue de Majorque), et Rockette, leur fidèle chatte à long poil.
Ensemble, ils ont transformé leur goût pour la rénovation et les projets manuels en une belle aventure de vie. Ils ont remis au goût du jour ce gîte et leur ferme en pierres datant de 1840, avec cœur et en créant un lieu chaleureux, convivial et authentique — à leur image.
Ils auront plaisir à vous accueillir dans cet écrin de nature qu'ils ont façonné au fil du temps, avec attention et générosité.

Sog72 Séjour parfait au cœur de la nature à Mailhoc
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine fin avril dans ce logement à Mailhoc. Le cadre est magnifique, avec de très beaux paysages et un environnement calme, verdoyant et reposant.
L’accueil a été chaleureux dès notre arrivée, ce qui nous a tout de suite mis à l’aise. Le logement est très stylé, décoré avec goût et parfaitement équipé pour passer un séjour agréable.
Un endroit idéal pour se détendre au calme et profiter de la nature. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésitation et reviendrons avec plaisir !

LittleFamily A fantastic little gite, perfect for small family!
The welcome from the hosts was great, they showed us around the beautiful property and told us everything we needed to know to get started. They also have a great guide in the property if you want to know anything else.
The gite is a perfect size for our family of 3, has large room upstairs with plenty of storage and generous living space downstairs including kitchen appropriate for cooking and relaxation space in the living room.
The grounds surrounding the gite are wonderful and the pool looking over the fields and garden make for a beautiful and relaxing setting. Everything is clean, tidy and thoughtful so you have every you need to have a fantastic time. The gite is very private and the owners have allowed very generous separate area to be used as your own private garden area including a patio.
The owners and their family are very kind and make the gite even better.
