The historic heart of the town has retained all the charm of a typical South-Western village, with its brick walls reflecting off the Tarn River. The Abbaye St-Michel or the Place du Griffoul, the parks and lively alleyways are not to be missed, for example on Market day.
The reputation of Gaillac wines is well established, and there's plenty to see and taste. Stroll along the Chemins de la Vigne, meet the winemakers, taste the reds, whites or rosés... There are over 100 listed at the Maison des vins.
And if you'd like to put on your sneakers and stroll through the vineyards and woods, ask your hosts for advice - they know their Vineyard like the back of their hand.
Holiday cottage, just outside Gaillac in the direction of Albi, close to the owners' house. The Holiday cottage was completely refurbished in 2014.
Cute little garden, pleasant terrace and large, totally private Piscine (9X5m) available from June 1 to the end of September.
First floor: living room (sofa, tv) opening onto terrace, dining room, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, oven, 4-burner gas hob, microwave), wc. Upstairs: two attic bedrooms (roof window), each with 140cm double bed, bathroom with corner bath. Baby Equipment.
A heating bill will be issued on departure.

Nous avons passé un séjour calme et reposant, les propriétaires sont adorable et très discret. Ils sont présent si besoin et surtout plein de bon conseil pour les lieux a visités , l'accueil y est très chaleureux et plein de petits présents, le gîte est spacieux, bien décoré, la piscine était plus qu'appréciable par 40° en moyenne.

Le gîte est très propre et très confortable. Rien ne manque et tout est fait pour que les vacanciers se sentent comme chez eux. La piscine est grande, le jardin est très joli et très bien entretenu. L'environnement est calme et il est très agréable de voir les oiseaux faire des allers/retours dans les arbres, c'est bucolique.
Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil et nous remercions vraiment M.et Mme Andrieu pour les vins et les croquants de Corde qui nous attendaient à notre arrivée.
Nous les remercions également pour les bonnes tomates du jardin et les excellents haricots verts.
Assurément nous recommandons et recommanderons ce gîte à toutes les personnes désirant passer des vacances à Gaillac.- Cleanliness
