In Mazamet, in the Négrin neighborhood, this single-story holiday cottage welcomes you at the foot of the Montagne Noire. Here, you’ll find the atmosphere of a village from days gone by in an authentic setting.

Once the capital of the wool-processing industry, Mazamet has successfully reinvented itself while celebrating its rich past. The city’s walking trails bring to life the era of stately mansions and the leather industry, while the Maison des Mémoires traces the history of Catharism, which originated in the region. Today, Mazamet is also a popular destination for hiking and outdoor enthusiasts: from the Himalayan-style suspension bridge overlooking the Arnette Valley to the marked trails, Lake Montagnès, and the ascent of the legendary Pic de Nore, there’s no shortage of ideas for outings.
Just a stone’s throw from the holiday cottage, the Passa Païs greenway takes you by bike or on foot all the way to the Hérault, and the City’s new Piscine delights young and old alike.

This air-conditioned family home is ideal for a stay for four people. The entrance is through a small courtyard enclosed by a gate, which also serves as a terrace for outdoor meals, with a view of the garden.
From there, you enter a hallway leading to a bedroom with a 140x190 bed, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. A small hallway leads to a second bedroom, also with a 140x190 bed, and then to the living area, which is comfortable and bathed in light thanks to its floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the courtyard. It features a sitting area with a TV and a well-equipped kitchenette.

An interior staircase (not accessible to guests) reflects the house’s original layout. A cool room in the basement provides storage for bicycles or equipment and also features a separate toilet and an additional bathroom.

Opposite the house is a small, elevated garden, accessible via a few steps. Though not fenced in, it’s a pleasant space equipped with lounge chairs. A private garage completes the property.

Electricity included—Gas heating at an additional cost (based on meter reading). Bed linen and towels not provided.
