Just 15 minutes from Albi and its famous UNESCO-listed Episcopal City, you'll discover one of the Tarn's most astonishing sites: Cap Découverte. Set in the former open-cast coal mine of Carmaux, this immense natural amphitheatre plunges to a depth of 230 metres and today offers a leisure area unique in Europe. Here, you can explore the history of the coalfield, notably at the Musée de la Mine, which gives an authentic account of the miners' daily lives and the industrial epic that shaped the area. Between cultural visits, sporting activities and extraordinary landscapes, this corner of the Tarn promises a varied program accessible to all ages.

It's in this atypical environment that Édith and Raymond have set up two Holiday cottages adjoining their home, with no facing buildings.

Holiday cottage Les Figuiers features a pleasant ground-floor living room with open-plan kitchen and sitting area with TV. The whole area is bright and designed to make your daily life easier.
Upstairs, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms:
Bedroom 1: double bed
Bedroom 2: two single beds
On the landing, a sitting area with sofa bed provides additional sleeping or relaxation space. The bathroom with toilet is also on this floor. For families, baby equipment is available.

The exterior is perfectly suited to vacation living: enclosed garden, garden furniture, barbecue, and above all a large swimming pool to share, ideal for cooling off after a day of discovery or activities.

Les Figuiers Holiday cottage is the ideal base for exploring the Tarn in a different way, between cultural immersion in Albi (Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, Palais de la Berbie, Cloître Saint Salvy=), outdoor activities and moments of relaxation in a well-kept setting.
