At the bottom of the valley, Sainte-Croix is a little like a postcard, a small village nestled in the hollow of the valley, a cameo of colors changing with the seasons and the crops.

Located on the outskirts of Albi, on the heights towards Cordes, the Holiday cottage des Barthes welcomes you to a peaceful setting in the hollow of a valley. A ten-minute drive will take you to the World Heritage-listed Episcopal City, a remarkable ensemble dominated by Sainte-Cécile Cathedral and the Palais de la Berbie. From the côte de Mascrabières, the view over Albi offers a foretaste of the area. Just fifteen minutes away, the medieval bastide town of Cordes-sur-Ciel completes the picture, as do the wineries of historic Gaillac, very much in evidence around Sainte-Croix.

An old farmhouse that has been completely renovated, the Holiday cottage is designed to welcome families in comfortable surroundings. On the first floor, you'll find a bright living room with sofas and armchairs, and a functional, well-equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave and induction hob. Bathroom and toilet are also on this level, while a storeroom houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

The first floor comprises all the bedrooms, plus a shower room and separate toilet:

Outside, the terrace offers a pleasant view of the dovecote and the private Piscine, a real asset on sunny days. The garden and play areas - portico, basketball court in the courtyard, ping-pong table - allow younger guests to take full advantage of the natural environment. A plancha and garden furniture complete your summer evenings.
