L'Enclos

A little nest for two, next to the owners' house, in the heart of the village of Rabastens. Jean-Paul and Colette have set up a small, comfortable studio, 30 minutes from Toulouse and Albi, Rabastens being halfway between the two towns.

Starting from the village, 6 signposted hiking trails lead you through lush green countryside, where dovecotes, chapels and small hamlets surrounded by fields, vineyards and orchards reveal themselves as you walk, and you'll also discover a pleasant lake that's very popular with walkers.

Rabastens' colorful, lively streets, market and historic buildings make it a must-see. On arrival, you'll be struck by the ubiquitous brickwork that characterizes the Rabastens aesthetic, then quickly stroll through the village, discovering the Church of Notre-Dame du Bourg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (a remarkable monument on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela), its magnificent 13th to 15th century frescoes, the ramparts and the Musée du Pays Rabastinois. The charm and gentle way of life of the Tarn region are at work.
From now on, you'll be lazing about on the banks of the Tarn, and the Rabastens area will be making eyes at you.

The GITE, set in a large, shady garden, comprises a living room with kitchenette (you'll find everything you need for your arrival in the kitchen: oil, salt...), shower room, separate toilet, and a mezzanine bedroom with a 140x190cm double bed.

The swimming pool is shared with the owners. Access to the independent gîte on the side where you can park your car in the shade of the trees, closed by a secure gate.


Outside, a semi-covered terrace for meals. Heat pump heating, air conditioning, wifi, TV.
