In the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park, Labastide-Rouairoux offers an authentic interlude between mountain and valley. A former textile mecca, the village has preserved a heritage marked by its Textile Museum, housed in an old factory, and by a lively atmosphere punctuated by markets and local events. The "voie verte", directly accessible from the Holiday cottage, invites you to walk or cycle along the Thoré valley. A little further afield, the landscapes of the Mountain Noire, the lakes and forests of the Haut-Languedoc, and the characterful villages of the southern Tarn all add to the wealth of ideas for outings and discoveries. This single-storey, semi-detached Holiday cottage, located close to the owners, is designed to accommodate up to 4 people in a simple, friendly atmosphere. The entrance opens onto a pleasant living room featuring an open-plan kitchen, a dining area and a relaxation area with two armchairs, ideal for moments of sharing after a day in the great outdoors. The kitchen is functional and equipped with a microwave, a 2-burner induction hob, a fridge with freezer and a filter coffee maker. Also on the first floor, there's a bathroom with shower and separate WC. Bedroom: one 150x190 bed and one 150x190 Bunk beds Outside, the shared enclosed garden offers plenty of space for relaxation, allowing everyone to preserve their privacy. Several shaded terraces are available for reading, lunching or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Direct access to the river, close to a waterfall, is a rare and much-appreciated asset in fine weather for a natural refresher. Holidaymakers also benefit from a common room adjoining the Holiday cottage with games, music and television, as well as an additional common living room accessible in winter in the owners' house. Parking is possible in the residence. Please note: no television in the Holiday cottage, no washing machine on site but possibility of breakdown service at the owners', and electricity extra charge in winter. Pets are welcome. To preserve the tranquility of the site and its natural setting, pets should be kept on a leash outside.
