Le Soulié sur Dadou

The house is immersed in an exceptional natural environment Situated in the heart of the Monts de Lacaune, at the gateway to the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc and the Parc Régional des Grands Causses, it is bordered by a hiking trail and a river populated by wild trout and crayfish, offering youngsters the chance to swim in the river.

It's comfortable and pleasant to live in, whatever the season: cool in summer, warm in winter. The choice of natural materials (wood, exposed stone, cotton, linen) and soft colors in harmony with its surroundings makes it a welcoming place. A garden suspended above the wooded park, built on the foundations of an ancient castle dating back to the year 1000, completes the unique character of this place where calm, peace and harmony reign.


** THE GITE **
Totally independent gîte in the small hamlet of Le Soulié, in the upper Dadou valley. Le Soulié is available in two formulas: one for 6 people (reference G440 on Gîtes de France), the other for 9 people with a bedroom + shower room in the annex of the old bakery (reference G1859, Le Soulié et son Fournil).
First floor:
- living room, Gllum is cool table, kitchen, separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with hob, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster, raclette machine, bread maker and waffle iron.
- Behind the kitchen, a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and pantry.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms:
- the first with two 90x190cm bunk beds
- the second with two 80x190 beds that can be twinned to form a 160cm bed
- the third with a 180x200cm bed
- bathroom (bath and washbasin)
- shower room (shower and basin)
- separate toilet
Wifi internet connection and telephone. Indoor games, library and DVD player with DVD available. Adjacent to the bread oven in the bakehouse: games room with ping-pong table, badminton and 6 mountain bikes. Green garden of 2 hectares, bordered by private forest and river. Garden table, deckchairs and round Weber barbecue.
Electric heating, stove in living room (first stere of wood free). Bed linen, towels and household linen provided, cleaning service available at end of stay. Electricity charge: 16 kWh per day.
