Le Rivel

The family home at Rivel has become a vacation home Totally independent gîte, halfway between Toulouse and Albi, ideal for a peaceful stay with family or friends.

Located on the outskirts of the charming village of Giroussens, at the gateway to the Gaillac vineyards. Giroussens, an ancient 13th-century bastide built around a castle overlooking the valley, was prosperous thanks to the activity of potters established at the edge of the forest, using a privilege granted to the inhabitants to take wood from the forest to fuel their kilns. Remarkable pieces from this local industry remain on display at the Giroussens Ceramic Center.

At Le Rivel, you'll find everything you need for a peaceful vacation: top-quality services, spacious accommodation, a lovely terrace for pleasant summer evenings and a huge garden, not to mention a covered bowling green and a beautiful swimming pool, just for you!

Opposite the front door, a park with a granite table in the shade of plane trees for outdoor meals. On the south side, the kitchen opens onto a large terrace where you can admire the Agout valley and the village of Saint Lieux below.
A plantation of trees (holm and pubescent oaks, field maples, umbrella pines) has been planted over 4000 m².

- all with two 90x190cm beds per room
- one bedroom is located on the first floor, next to the living room
- three bedrooms on the first floor of the gîte
- Bathroom with double washbasin, shower and bathtub on the first floor. Separate toilet on first floor
- A second bathroom with washbasin and bathtub on the first floor. Separate toilet upstairs
