Once upon a time, in a secret valley of the Sidobre, between Castres and Lacaune, there was an old stone mill, guardian of forgotten stories. Following the small road from Guyor (D66) towards Ferrières, at the bend in the road, it emerges, majestic and silent: the Moulin de Record.

Here, time fades away. All that counts is the rustle of the river, the gentle breeze in the trees, and the laughter carried by the clear water. Gabriele and Jean-Pierre open the doors of their Holiday cottages, a haven of comfort and simplicity, where every stone and beam seems to whisper tales of bygone days.

Let yourself be lulled by nature: tease the trout at sunrise, dive into the freshness of a wild swim, go crayfish-hunting with your Kids, laugh without fear of mosquitoes or heavy summer heat.

And when the time comes to cross the thread of the past, Jean-Pierre will tell you all about the tumultuous life of the Moulin, witness to the Crusades and the Wars of Religion. A vibrant journey, between memory and nature, that will stay with you for a long time.

The rustic Holiday cottage LE REFUGE DU PECHEUR, facing south-south-east, is located on the second floor of the main mill building, with its own entrance on the west side. It comprises 2 rooms, once the bedrooms of the last miller's Kids.
It offers a 22 m² main room with a sitting area, a comfortable convertible sofa for 2 people, an open-plan fitted kitchen and dining area, then 2 steps up to the large 20 m² bedroom with a 160x200 bed and a 90x200 single bed, with access to the shower room from the bedroom, with a washbasin, shower cubicle and toilet. This Holiday cottage is suitable for the elderly (raised bed, direct access to shower room/wc).

The independent terrace with barbecue overlooks the river. Deckchairs available, baby bed on request.
