Le Pressoir

In the heart of the Pays Cordais, a pretty white stone gîte in a small village In this typical local stone house, dating from before the French Revolution, the gîte has been converted from an old wine cellar, 3 km from the medieval village of Cordes-sur-Ciel, recently voted France's favorite village, in the heart of the Albigensian bastides.

It's an ideal starting point for discovering all these little hilltop villages, rich in history, as well as the city of Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the thousand-year-old vineyards of Gaillac.


For the more sporty, the nearby Aveyron Gorges are ideal for water sports, as is the GR 36, which crosses the Tarn from north to south. Hiking and fishing are available from the gîte.

Ground floor: living room with fully-equipped open kitchen (fridge, gas hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave), two bedrooms, bathroom (bath), wc. One bedroom with double bed 140x190, the second with two pull-out beds 90x190 (can be twinned).
