Le Pigeonnier de Lacalm

Peace and quiet, the warmth of a dovecote in a traditional hamlet on the outskirts of Albi and the upper Tarn valley.

It took a good twenty years to restore this old farmhouse and its Pigeonnier (your Holiday cottage) to the point of abandonment... But we took our time! At the end of a hamlet of around 30 inhabitants, where the road ends, you'll find our home surrounded by 3900 m² of fenced parkland. The hamlet of Lacalm, in the commune of Saint-Grégoire 3km away, lives up to its name, situated on the heights at the start of the Tarn Valley, just 15 minutes from the center of Albi, 30 minutes from Ambialet (loop of the Tarn) or Cordes-sur-Ciel (medieval city)... But we'll be there to explain everything.

** THE HOLIDAY COTTAGE **
The old Pigeonnier will be your Holiday cottage. The pigeons have given way to a ground-floor living room with 2 armchairs, table, TV and fully-equipped kitchenette (fridge with freezer, toaster, microwave, oven, kettle, filter coffee maker and Senseo® pod coffee maker).
Upstairs, a bedroom with a 160x200cm double bed and a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.

Outside, enjoy the sun and blue sky, the Milky Way and shooting stars, your terrace, garden furniture, swimming pool (8x4m, 1.4m deep), barbecue and plancha available.... The owners do not bathe when holidaymakers occupy the loft.

Please note: the Piscine is open from June to September. Please note that these dates may vary depending on the structure.

Access to our laundry room to use the washing machine if required.

An independent entrance is available for holidaymakers with a secure gate where you can leave your car. Access to the dovecote is from the rear of the house.
On site, you'll come across our 3 very friendly Cavalier King Charles, and you can feed the chickens if you wish.
