Le Petit Serène

The calm, the forest, a cocoon for two, a beautiful swimming pool: a real vacation! Serène is a magnificent stone property, perched on a hill, a former farm of the Templiers de Vaour, below the village on the road to Itzac.

Nestled in a valley, overlooking a small cirque with wooded ridges, it exudes a sense of calm and serenity.
Don't miss the Pays des Bastides, the fortress of Penne, the villages of Puycelsi and Cordes-sur-ciel, the Gaillac vineyards and, of course, the famous Episcopal City of Albi (Cathedral, Palais de la Berbie, Toulouse-Lautrec museum)...

Gîte and chambres d'hôtes are the perfect place to stay. Le Petit Serène adjoins Le Grand Serène, which can accommodate up to 10 people: reference G1796 on Gîtes de France.
Those who wish to do so can discover life on the farm, explore the many hiking trails that criss-cross the Grésigne and the high plateaux of the Pays de Vaour, or take advantage of the forest paths on the property. The Ferme de Serène is just below the gîtes. Here you can see the herd of Aubrac cows, with their calves raised in their mother's womb, and the Périgord black pigs.



** LE GITE **
Gîte at the end of the wing housing the guest rooms (reference G2129).

The gîte comprises just two rooms: the living room on the first floor, with open-plan kitchen and sitting area (fireplace), and the bedroom upstairs, with shower room and toilet.

Outside: enjoy the shade of the walnut tree in front of the gîte, with table and charcoal barbecue. There's no shortage of outdoor space! You'll bump into the owners and occupants of the other gîte (or chambre d'hôtes), but Serène is a house perched on a hill, surrounded by nature and forest, so it's hard to get in the way!
Swimming pool to share with other guests. Open from June 1 to September 31. 12x6m saltwater pool with progressive floor from 1 to 1.80m. Accessible at all times.
