An ecclesiastical village, 1,000 years of history, a legacy of the bishops of Albi, two unique Museums: welcome to Monestiés!

Between Albi (a UNESCO World Heritage site) and Cordes-sur-Ciel, Monestiés is nestled in a loop of the River Cérou.
Its cultural heritage blends into a bucolic natural environment. Old stone buildings and historic homes blend harmoniously with the green, undulating landscape.

Monestiés is listed as one of France's most beautiful villages, and you'll enjoy strolling through its picturesque lanes to encounter the vestiges of the past: ancient fortifications, the Candèze bridge, the Griffoul fountain, half-timbered houses and other remarkable architecture... Don't forget to discover the paintings in the Bajen-Vega museum, and admire the statuary group from the Château de Combefa in the Chapelle St Jacques, the town's jewel.


HOLIDAY COTTAGE :
Detached cottage, close to the owners' home, set in a large grassy garden, on the road between Albi and Monestiés.

From the outside, the view is breathtaking over the medieval village of Monestiés, one of France's most beautiful villages. The heart of the village is a 5-minute walk away. Here you'll find all the main shops (grocery, newsagents, bakery, Pharmacy).

The Holiday cottage is arranged on two levels, following the direction of the slope. Inside, a steep staircase links the two levels.
- First floor: small living room with kitchen, sofa bed, TV and washing machine.
- Upstairs: bedroom with double bed (140x190cm) and two single beds (90x190cm) with bunk beds. Bathroom with shower and toilet.
Access from the garden to both levels. If you find the inside staircase too steep, you can always go outside! On one side a driveway, on the other a less steep staircase.

Covered terrace, garden furniture, barbecue. Parking in front of the house. Enclosed grounds.
