In Villefranche-d'Albigeois, in the heart of the Assou valley, this estate comprises two adjoining Holiday cottages (G1413 and G1414) that can accommodate up to 23 people. The authentic character of the property is enhanced by the use of stone and wood to create a convivial atmosphere. Just a stone's throw from Albi, you'll find the Cathedral Ste-Cécile and the Toulouse-Lautrec Museums in the UNESCO city. Many tourist attractions are within easy reach: Ambialet and its promontory overlooking the Tarn, Réalmont and its traditional Market, Cordes-sur-Ciel and Monestiés, as well as Lautrec and Castelnau-de-Montmiral, both of which are well worth a visit. The Monts d'Alban will delight hikers with their panoramic views. At the foot of the estate, a stream with a small waterfall provides fresh air, and fishing is authorized in season (1st category, permit required). Farmers' markets and specialties from the Tarn region will round off your stay.

- Holiday cottage des 8 Meuniers: 40 m² living room with open kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, gas hob, filter coffee maker), dining area and living room with fireplace and TV.
3 bedrooms with double beds (140x190), 2 bedrooms with single beds (90x190).
Each Holiday cottage has several shower rooms and WCs, including one accessible for people with reduced mobility.
Outside: two private enclosed gardens, landscaped terraces, barbecues, communal swimming pool (4 x 8 m, 1.5 m deep), secure and open from June to late September, plus private parking.

Originaire du Portugal, j'ai posé mes valises dans le Tarn, après avoir passé un bon moment très loin d'ici, en région Lilloise. Le calme de la petite vallée de l'Assou, aux portes d'Albi, m'a de suite séduit.

C est un super lieu et les gîtes pourraient en faire l écho
Tout est un peu sous dimensionné et le niveau de prestation ne vaut pas trois épis
Toutefois le propriétaire est sympathique il a sans doute besoin d aide pour entretenir ces bâtiments

Un lieu magnifique et calme un gîte superbe un propriétaire accueillant. Dommage quil ne soit pas mentionné que la piscine est accessible seulement à partir du juin.

cdje49 Séjour championnat de France échecs
Nous avons passé un bon séjour avec 15 jeunes et 6 adultes lors des championnats de France jeunes d'échecs à Albi, le gite est confortable, spacieux et dans un très beau cadre.
L'accueil est agréable. Forfait ménage un peu cher.- Cleanliness

Les Galets Gîte tout à fait adapté au groupe de 20 adultes.
Le temps était froid et pluvieux mais nous avons passé un excellent moment dans un gîte bien chauffé et très fonctionnel

Muxu31 Un week end d'anniversaire au gîte des 23 convives
Super week end d'anniversaire au gîte des 23 convives.
Nous avons apprécié la taille du gîte, ses nombreuses chambres et salles de bain, le confort et la taille de la pièce à vivre, la possibilité de prendre les repas dehors grâce au matériel de jardin, l'accès immédiat aux chemins de randonnée en forêt.
Ce que nous avons moins aimé : le ménage non nickel avec beaucoup de mouches mortes dans les chambres, beaucoup de punaises volantes et beaucoup de toiles d'araignées. Besoin de nettoyer les salles de bains avant utilisation. Apparemment nous étions les premiers fin mars de la saison. L'eau est trop chaude avec risque pour les enfants de se brûler. Et il sera absolument nécessaire à l'avenir de mettre une barrière pour l'accès au second gîte avec cet escalier très dangereux qui y descend. Avec 3 enfants de moins de 5 ans nous avons dû faire une installation de fortune et de protection. Le bilan pour ce week end reste pourtant très positif, Monsieur Dias est très sympathique et disponible et nous souhaitons dans l'avenir revenir en famille. Muxu31- Cleanliness
