In the heart of the Tarn countryside, in the hamlet of Le Grès in Frausseilles, this large self-catering cottage, a former 19th-century farmhouse, has been fully restored to become your future haven of peace. It welcomes families and groups in search of space, relaxation and authenticity. Situated between the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel, listed as one of France's Most Beautiful Villages, the UNESCO World Heritage Episcopal city of Albi and the slopes of the Gaillac Vineyard, the gîte is ideally located for exploring the Tarn region, its bastides, farmers' markets and rolling countryside. Semi-detached from the owners' home, the gîte offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, while preserving the privacy of holidaymakers. The Holiday cottage is built around an enclosed, secure courtyard, designed as a living space in its own right. On the first floor, a large living room houses the open-plan kitchen and dining room. The brand-new kitchen is fully equipped for tribal living: oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, filter and Senseo coffee makers. The room is enhanced by a pellet stove. On the other side of the staircase leading to the 1st floor, the living room with connected TV and pellet stove, and upstairs five bedrooms offering appreciable comfort for a group stay (all bedding was renewed in January 2026). 3 bedrooms overlooking the courtyard and swimming pool, 2 bedrooms opening onto the rolling countryside of the farm: - Bedroom 1: 2 beds 120x190 - Bedroom 2: 1 bed 160x200 - Bedroom 3: 1 bed 160x200 - Bedroom 4: 1 bed 160x200 - Bedroom 5: 1 bed 160x200 Sanitary facilities: 1 bathroom, 1 shower room and 3 separate WCs. Outside, the enclosed, private garden provides a truly relaxing space. You'll enjoy a private outdoor swimming pool measuring 5x10 m, with a depth of 0.80 to 1.70 m, open from April to October and secured by a cover with bars and fences.
