Le Grand Serène

Peace and quiet, the Forest, a large house, a beautiful Piscine. Serène is a magnificent stone property perched on a hill, a former farm of the Templiers de Vaour, below the village on the road to Itzac.

Holiday cottages take on their full meaning here, with homestays, walks and hikes in the Forest, and relaxation by the Piscine. Those who wish can discover life on the farm, or explore the many Hiking trails criss-crossing the Grésigne and the high plateaux of the Pays de Vaour.
Not to be missed: the Pays des Bastides, the fortress of Penne, the villages of Puycelsi and Cordes-sur-ciel, the Gaillac Vineyard and the famous Cité Episcopale in Albi!


** THE GITE **
Le Grand Serène (reference G2129 on Gîtes de France®) has been converted from a guest house into a gîte. The owners live in one wing of the building, but each has his or her own independence.
The gîte, located above the farmhouse, is adjoined at the rear by a small Holiday cottage for 2 people (reference G294).

- Fully-equipped kitchen with cooker, American fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher, toaster.
- Large 100m² living room with bay windows, beams and stone walls.
- From the living room, access to the covered terrace with gas barbecue/plancha facing the valley and towards the Piscine.

- 4 bedrooms, each with private shower room and toilet
* Botanicals on the first floor, accessible to people with reduced mobility, with two 90x190cm beds.
* Chambre Aubrac and *Mamie, upstairs, each with a 160x200cm bed
* Scilly, 45m², on the first floor, divided into two bedrooms: the first with a 160x200cm bed. The bathroom (bath and double washbasin) and separate toilet separate the second bedroom with two 90x190cm beds.

Plenty of outdoor space! Serène is a house perched on a hill, surrounded by nature and the Forest.
Piscine shared with occupants of the Holiday cottage, open from early June to late September. 12x6m saltwater Piscine with progressive bottom from 1 to 1.80m, accessible at all times.
