Holiday cottage Chouquette is located 15 minutes from Albi and its UNESCO-listed Episcopal City. In the heart of unspoilt countryside, on the banks of the Tarn river, we welcome you to a very old country house, typical of the Ségala region, built entirely of shale stone and patiently restored with all modern comforts, including two shower rooms and a fully-equipped kitchen.
It is separated from our house by a courtyard, with its own private terrace and garden.
You'll love the tranquility of the Sol, a former threshing floor overlooking the house, or you can take a dip in the Tarn and enjoy our private Beach. You can go fishing, stroll through our woods or take the bike tour on the small road along the Tarn.
7 km away is Ambialet, a picturesque village nestled in a narrow meander of the river, with its Market in summer, its starting point for canoe trips and the sound and light show every Thursday. Even before you arrive from Albi, you'll be seduced by the small road winding along the Tarn at the bottom of the valley.

First floor: fully-equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom (electric bed 160x200cm, separable into two beds 80x200cm), bathroom with toilet.
Upstairs: two bedrooms (one with a 160cm bed, the other with a 140cm bed), shower room with wc.

Jean-Louis amateur d'histoire locale, se fera un plaisir de vous faire découvrir notre terroir, et notre région, du vignoble Gaillacois, aux monts de Lacaune, en passant par les plateaux du Ségala, ses sites touristiques, sa gastronomie, son art de vivre au plus près d'une nature authentique. Nous serons là pour vous conseiller et vous indiquer quelques restaurants…

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au gîte la Chouquette, idéalement situé entre Albi, Cordes-sur-Ciel et Lautrec !
Le gîte est parfaitement équipé, très propre et décoré avec goût.
Colette et Jean-Louis sont accueillants, disponibles et chaleureux, tout en restant discrets. Ils nous ont donné d'excellents conseils pour découvrir la région.
La localisation est parfaite pour visiter les plus beaux villages et sites du Tarn, tout en profitant du calme de la campagne.

Un gîte traditionnel en pierres avec tout le confort moderne.
Un accès direct au Tarn, les pieds dans l’eau, avec une plage en herbe et une baignade où nous avons pied.

Marie Une semaine au paradis

CHATELLIER Colette et Jean Louis nous ont accueilli chaleureusement dans ce gîte qui propose beaucoup de prestations.
Rien ne nous a manqué et nos hôtes étaient tres disponibles en cas de besoin.
L'accès privé au Tarn nous a permis de nous rafraîchir âpres nos escapades dans la région : Albi, Ambialet, Cordes sur ciel sont de jolis endroits facilement accessibles depuis le logement.
