Le Gîte Pourpry

A studio on a charming 8-hectare estate in the heart of the Forest, with a natural swimming pool and lush garden, for a relaxing stay in the countryside.

Between Lavaur and Castres, the Château de Pourpry estate welcomes you to Damiatte, in the Countryside of the Tarn. With its hilltop villages, gourmet markets and rural heritage, the Pays de Cocagne is a pleasant surprise for those seeking peace, discovery and nature. Nearby: Lavaur and its cathedral, the Martels garden, Lautrec and its mill or Castres and its Goya museum. This studio, located in an outbuilding of the château, is perfect for a two-person stay.

Domaine de Pourpry is committed to eco-responsibility. The main room has a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area with sofa. The bedroom area, slightly separated by a partition, houses a 160x200 double bed, with blackout curtains to ensure peaceful nights.

Electric ventilation in every room, ceiling fan on the kitchen side, mosquito screens on all windows... Everything has been designed for summer comfort. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and heated towel rail, and the WC (dry) is separate.

Outside, a private terrace with screens allows you to enjoy your meals in privacy. The estate's vast park, with its flowers and trees, is an invitation to stroll: rose garden, orchard, permaculture, kiosk, 1.5km path accessible for walking or jogging. The natural Piscine (17x8m, 40 cm to 2 m deep), an extension of the château, is set in an attractive green setting.

There's also a shared summer kitchen with dishwasher, large table, microwave, barbecue and view of the château. On-site: goats, chickens, roosters, turkeys and a dog. Access to château laundry on request, electric vehicle charging station (actual charge), free access to certain rooms in the château (lounges, library, restaurant).
