A warm and welcoming Holiday cottage in the heart of the Sidobre, perfect for enjoying the authentic forest environment and discovering part of the Sidobre on foot from the hamlet.

Located in Le Bez, the Holiday cottage Les Hortensias enjoys a privileged setting, on the edge of the Forest and close to the granite landscapes of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park. From the hamlet, footpaths lead to emblematic Sidobre sites such as Lake du Merle, Sentier des Merveilles, Roc de l'Oie and Peyro Clabado, which can be reached in 45 minutes to 1h30 depending on the itinerary. Just a few kilometers away, Castres, Brassac and Burlats offer a wealth of heritage, markets, crafts and local discoveries. Biodiversity is omnipresent: roe deer, green woodpeckers, salamanders, birds of prey, wild boar tracks... In the evening, the sky opens up magnificently above you, revealing a starry spectacle at your fingertips. The melodies of the surrounding Forest gently envelop the Holiday cottage in a serene, relaxing ambience. The first floor of the Holiday cottage features a fully-equipped kitchen (with filter coffee maker). The open-plan dining room and living room create a convivial space for meals or moments of relaxation. On the first floor, accessible by a Japanese staircase, are the sleeping areas and a functional shower room with toilet: - Bedroom 1: 1 double bed - Bedroom 2: 2 single beds Outside, a garden with terrace and relaxing lounge allows you to enjoy the calm of the hamlet, breakfasts in the open air or a moment in the sun. A private parking lot is reserved around 200 meters away, with the possibility of unloading near the Holiday cottage. Pets allowed at an additional cost and must be kept on a leash in the hamlet. The cell phone network is sometimes limited, perfect for a gentle disconnect. Board games, books, mini-crêpes, fondue or rice cookers and other equipment are available on request. In winter or mid-season, remember to bring slippers and suitable footwear.
