Le Domaine de Liz

The house stays cool in summer, thanks to its white stone walls. It's often said that the landscape here resembles Italian Tuscany, with its vineyards and fortified towns.

Just a stone's throw from Cordes-sur-Ciel, a medieval town perched on a rocky outcrop, Domaine de Liz is a magnificent stone house in the tiny hamlet of La Borie. It's the ideal gîte for families and friends, with 6 bedrooms, a large living room and a private swimming pool.


Visit Albi and its Episcopal City, a Unesco World Heritage site, the Gaillac vineyards and the legendary conviviality of its winegrowers (aperitif-concerts on summer evenings under the stars), the hilltop villages (Puycelsi, Castelnau-de-Montmiral), Penne... Let yourself be tempted by south-western gastronomy and the riches of the terroir, accompanied by the sweet wines of Gaillac. The Gayrard vineyard, the Castan distillery, the only whisky producer in the Tarn, and the Domaine Rigaud, a producer of olive oil and by-products, are just around the corner from the gite.


On 3 levels, Domaine de Liz welcomes you all year round
On the first floor, the rooms open onto the courtyard, perfect for breakfast in the morning sun, or evenings around a barbecue (garden furniture, large table). From the courtyard, a few steps lead to a terrace overlooking the pool area, then to the pool (12x6m, secured by alarm and gates) surrounded by a stone terrace, flowerbeds, shrubs and trees overlooking a meadow and orchard.
