Curious stone mushrooms have sprung up in the meadow The Sidobre massif is unique in France

In the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park, surrounded by steep-sided valleys, this vast, wooded plateau is dotted with strangely-shaped granite rocks, sculpted by nature and time. The most famous of these are Peyro Clabado and Roc de l'Oie, both very close to the gîte. The chaos and rivers of rock are also well worth a look.

A land of history, the Sidobre is also worth discovering for its legends, handed down over the centuries, and for its granite quarries. The Sidobre is criss-crossed by numerous hiking, mountain-biking and horse-riding trails, which you can follow right from the gîte, before relaxing in the pool on your return.





** LE GITE **
Totally self-contained, in the heart of the Sidobre granite massif, in a clearing surrounded by forest. There are only two year-round rental accommodations nearby, below the gîte. The gîte offers guests a private swimming pool, covered by a greenhouse/canopy and heated from May 1 to September 30. Enclosed garden with swing and slide.

Gîte on one level after a few steps at the entrance:
- Living room with open-plan kitchen, large Gllum is cool dining table and sitting area with sofa, TV and fireplace (non-functional).
- Kitchen equipment: microwave, dishwasher, mini oven, raclette machine, filter coffee maker.

Two bedrooms, each with reversible air-conditioning:
- The first has a 140x190cm double bed and a single bed.
- The second has a 140x190cm double bed and a crib.
Bathroom with bath, sink, bidet and toilet.

From the hallway, you can access the garage where the freezer and washing machine are located. You can store your car in the closed garage, or park easily in front of the gîte. Oil-fired central heating.
