Nestled on the upper floor of a beautifully restored farmhouse built in 1793, the Viguerie holiday cottage captivates guests from the moment they arrive with its stunning stone staircase. Adjacent to the owners’ home, the holiday cottage offers a perfect blend of authenticity and comfort, with its exposed beams and hewn stone walls creating a warm and soothing atmosphere.

Located in the heart of the Tarn Ségala region, between the Tarn and Aveyron departments, you’ll be staying in a preserved and wild area. The Viaur Valley, shaped by the river, reveals landscapes that remain untouched, perfect for hiking and nature getaways. Nicknamed the “land of a hundred valleys,” the Ségala is a land of contrasts where hills, streams, and valleys follow one another. The forests here are deep, dominated by chestnut trees, the emblem of this verdant region where nature reigns supreme. A perfect setting for a rejuvenating vacation, far from the hustle and bustle, close to what truly matters.

Many discoveries await you along the trails: the church of Les Infournats, the castle of Jouqueviel-le-Vieux, charming villages like Najac, Monestiés, or Lagarde-Viaur, as well as the must-see Grands Sites d’Occitanie such as Rodez (and its Soulages Museum) or Albi, whose Episcopal City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The holiday cottage is arranged over two levels. On the ground floor, a large, cozy living area features a sitting area and a fully equipped kitchen (oven, induction cooktop, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave).

Upstairs, you’ll find a large, comfortable bedroom as well as a bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and washing machine.
Outside, a lovely garden lies at the foot of the stone staircase; a little further on, the Piscine (8 x 4.5 m, depth 1 to 1.50 m), shared with the owners, will let you cool off and fully enjoy the sunny days.
