La Sicardié

A large garden, peace and quiet, and all within easy reach of the city? Ideally located between Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, Le gîte de la Sicardié is a self-contained, single-storey property with a large garden planted with trees, just outside Castres in the direction of Lautrec.

A City with a subtle yet profound charm, combining quality of life, cultural dynamism and economic development. The Jardin de l'Évêché, designed by André Le Nôtre in the pure tradition of 17th-century French classicism, features an embroidered parterre and majestically highlights the former Episcopal Palace, now home to the Goya Museum. The second-largest Hispanic art museum after the Louvre, it houses a unique collection of works by Spanish painters.
The city center can be reached via the "voie verte", the old railroad line between Castres and Albi. Castres, with its pastel-colored houses suspended above the River Agout, has an air of "Little Venice" about it.

** THE HOLIDAY COTTAGE **
- Kitchen opening onto large living room with fireplace, sofa and TV. The living room is air-conditioned, and as the house is on one level, the bedrooms are easy to cool.
* Kitchen equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker. Adjoining the kitchen is a small laundry room with fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
- The first two bedrooms each have a 160x200cm double bed, while the third has a 140x190cm double bed.
- Bathroom with large shower, toilet and double washbasin.

- Outside: a terrace surrounds half the house, open to the living room with garden furniture and charcoal barbecue. The house is surrounded by 6000m² of wooded, flower-filled, shady grounds! Perfect for summer lounging.
Private parking at the Holiday cottage, you can park below the house. Fireplace and underfloor heating.
