La Riba del Viaur

The Holiday cottage is an old farmhouse at the edge of the hamlet of La Rive, in the heart of the Ségala Tarnais region. Perched on a 400-meter-high summit, it overlooks the Viaur gorges in a verdant setting on the edge of the Forest.

For lovers of peace and quiet, nature, hiking, botany, mushroom picking, astronomy and swimming, this is the ideal location. The Holiday cottage is next to a hiking trail that takes a 10-minute walk to the river and its landscaped Beach. This trail is linked to many others in the region and to the botanical trail along the Viaur. The Lake de la Roucarié leisure center is 15 minutes away: supervised swimming, sailing, rowing, pedal-boating and ski surfing. The village of Pampelonne is a 5-minute drive away, or a 40-minute walk along the footpaths. It offers all the services you need for shopping and health, and is the venue for weekly summer events. And if you miss the City, Albi is just a short drive away. Welcome to our future vacationers!

The Holiday cottage was recently renovated by Philippe, an architect, in an ecological spirit using natural, breathable materials (lime walls, lime-hemp slabs, terracotta tiles, oak floors...). The Holiday cottage and water are heated by a wood-fired boiler and solar panels, making it ideal for stays in all seasons.
The Holiday cottage is independent and south-facing, with a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, a garden and the possibility of walking in the property's acres of woodland.

First floor: 40m² living room (table with 6 chairs, china cabinet, bench and 2 armchairs, games table, TV, wifi), contemporary fitted kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cookware and crockery, wc room with washing machine.
Second floor:
Bedroom 1 (15m²) with table, chest of drawers, wardrobe and 160x200 bed.
Bedroom 2 (12m²): chest of drawers and 2 beds 90x190
Bathroom with shower cubicle
Attic bedroom 3 (30m²): part dormitory and part gaming room with 2 Cot 80x190 beds (or 1 Cot 160x190 bed), bench seat, storage furniture.
