La Merise

In the peaceful Albigensian countryside, you'll find all the shops and services in Villefranche d'Albigeois, which you can reach on foot.

The beautiful Tarn valley is a 10-minute drive away, and the magical City of Albi, a UNESCO heritage site, is 20 minutes away. Castres, Cordes sur Ciel and Gaillac are all nearby, and Toulouse airport is just over an hour's drive away.

Visit the local Markets, sample local wines in the Gaillac vineyards, explore Albi and neighboring cities, or simply relax and soak up the sun around the Piscine. Also, there are many lovely walks close to the Holiday cottage and in the Tarn valley. It's perfect for hikers, with many local PR trails and the GR 36 nearby.


** THE GITE **
The Holiday cottage is an old renovated barn, adjoining the owners' home, but with independent access.
The terrace, large garden and Piscine are entirely private. Heated Piscine 10x4m, 1.8m deep, maintained at 26 degrees from May-June to September-October, or weather permitting. Table tennis and badminton.

The Holiday cottage comprises :
- a large, bright living room with open-plan kitchen and lounge area,
* kitchen: washing machine, oven, microwave, Senseo piston and pod coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer.
* living room with sofa bed for 2 extra beds, TV with English and French channels.
- two bedrooms: one with a 140x190cm double bed, the second with two single beds (one 95x180cm, the other 110x180cm).
- bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet

In front of the living room, terrace with shade sail on sunny days. Garden furniture and barbecue.

Bed linen, towels and pool towels provided. No extra charge, no deposit required. We have a charging station for electric cars, free for guests.
