La Maison du Pouget

It's hard to imagine that your vacation home is an old farmhouse. Here, everything was empty. Only the walls and the signatures on the stones remain. This former family farm has been totally renovated with taste and modernity. La Maison du Pouget offers you all the comforts you need for a wonderful Countryside vacation.

You can taste Gaillac wine, visit Albi and its Episcopal City, explore the royal bastide of Réalmont, or simply stroll through the cobblestone streets of Cordes-sur-Ciel, Puycelsi, or Lautrec.

The former farmhouse has been completely restored; it’s a charming, detached home with a private Piscine and no neighbors directly across from it. You won’t find any fences marking the garden’s boundaries—only the fields of an organic farmer in the distance will serve as your natural boundary.

The outdoor area features garden furniture, a barbecue, and a plancha grill for your evening barbecues. The Piscine measures 9x4m, is 1.40 meters deep, and has a flat bottom. A ping-pong table, a swing, a set of molky, and a large pétanque court (with boules) are all waiting for you.

On the ground floor:
- A reading nook in the entryway with board games and novels
- A 28-square-meter kitchen/dining room with all the equipment you need to prepare delicious meals (induction cooktop, oven, food processor, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee maker (Magimix) for pod lovers—pods available at the supermarket—and a classic filter coffee maker…).
- A 28m² living room with armchairs, a sofa, and a 4K Smart TV
- A separate half-bath

Upstairs:
- Green Bedroom (13m²): 140x200cm bed, desk, and closet
- 25 m² Beige Bedroom: 180 x 200 cm bed (created by joining two twin beds) and a 90 x 200 cm single bed. Private bathroom with toilet
- Blue Bedroom (13 m²): 160 x 200 cm bed, closet, desk, and beautiful view of the Piscine

Beds made on arrival; bathroom linen and pool towels provided; end-of-stay housekeeping included.
The pool is cleaned every morning by the owner (between 30 minutes and 1 hour).
The house is equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioning (bedrooms and living room), as well as a charging station for electric vehicles (additional fee)
