La Grangette de la Ginestière

On the edge of the Sidobre region and the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc, La Ginestière emerges from a winding road that passes through forests, streams and isolated hamlets. It's like arriving at the end of the world, before giving way to the serenity of the place: the sound of the stream below, the wooded slopes surrounding the hamlet and, with a bit of luck, the deer that venture into the neighboring field. At an altitude of 850 m, this micro region is also known for its autumn porcini mushrooms, its Sidobre rocks and its Hiking itineraries.
The surrounding area invites you to relax: stroll in the woods, swim at Lake Raviège, spend evenings around the fire, roast chestnuts or fish in the streams for wild trout.

The estate's two character-filled Holiday cottages, awarded the Panda and Art de Vivre labels, are housed in buildings over two centuries old, restored by Cécile and Olivier with respect for local stone and wood. La Grangette (1804), designed for two people, offers a warm and authentic setting.

On the ground floor, the vaulted room houses the living area with an open kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A filter coffee maker and Senséo complete the set. The dining room and living room share this convivial space, enhanced by a wood-burning stove.
