La Grange de la Ginestière

A large, characterful Holiday cottage at the end of a Forest road, ideal for families enjoying the peace, forests and altitude of the Haut Languedoc.

At an altitude of 850 m, at the gateway to the Sidobre region and in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc, La Ginestière can be discovered at the end of a winding road through forests, streams and small villages. The finish gives the impression of reaching the end of the world. The nearby Lake de la Raviège is an inviting spot for swimming and water sports. The surrounding forest paths are ideal for walks, cosy evenings by the fire or seasonal pickings. A perfect place to recharge your batteries together.

The setting is immediately inviting: a stream below, a panorama of wooded mountains and, occasionally, roe deer and hinds venturing into the nearby meadows. The estate comprises two independent Holiday cottages, recognized as Panda and Art de Vivre cottages. Housed in two centuries-old buildings, they have been restored by Cécile and Olivier using local stone and wood. In this large Holiday cottage, the arches of the old barn, dating back to 1804, are particularly striking.

The ground floor features a large, convivial living room with a wood-burning stove (provided), a dining room and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen for comfortable living (filter coffee maker and Senséo). On the same level is a double bedroom with a 140x190 bed opening onto a terrace, and a private shower room.

On the garden level, the Holiday cottage offers two additional bedrooms:
- One bedroom with one 140x190 bed and one 90x190 bed.
- A bedroom with 3 beds 90x190, which can be converted into a double bed.
There's also a gaming room with library and table soccer, as well as a bathroom and separate toilet.

Outside, you'll find a covered terrace, a pleasant garden and several family-friendly facilities, including a portico, bowling green and ping pong table.
