Nestled in a meander of the Rance, near a bridge linking the villages of Curvalle and Plaisance, the house was probably used in the 19th century as a place to rest and lodge people traveling on foot or horseback...
This ancient dwelling, a family heirloom, is part of the heritage of the villages of Curvalle and Plaisance, between Tarn and Aveyron. Isolated on 1 ha of meadowland, it will bring you peace, greenery and freshness, close to the amenities of the village of Plaisance (5 minutes' walk). Roger, Françoise and Florie started out with a barn that had no water or electricity, and over a period of five years carried out a high-quality renovation that preserved the authenticity of the site and the building. Out of conviction, and without neglecting comfort, they have opted for ecological choices (slate, stone, lime, earth, wood and local products, solar energy, wood heating...). Hiking and cycling enthusiasts (road bikes and mountain bikes) will find an ideal environment here. The Tarn valley, the Parc Naturel des Grands Causses, the Roquefort terroir and the Episcopal City of Albi (a UNESCO World Heritage site) are all great tourist attractions...
Totally independent Holiday cottage facing the village of Plaisance. Pretty terrace with pergola, large wooded grounds (fruit trees), direct access to the river.

Héritage familial, Roger, Françoise et Florie avaient à cœur de mener une rénovation de grande qualité, qui préserve l'authenticité du site et de la bâtisse. Partis d'une grange sans eau et électricité, le résultat est superbe, après cinq années de labeur. Par conviction, et sans négliger le confort, ils ont privilégié des choix écologiques (ardoises, pierres, chaux, terre, bois et produits locaux, énergie solaire, chauffage au bois…)
