On the Plateau Cordais, between Albi and Cordes-sur-Ciel, you'll be staying in an 18th-century white stone maison de maitre, at the heart of a family cattle farm. Pascal and his family raise Aveyron calves and poultry, and enjoy sharing their daily farm life. Young and old alike can get up close to the animals, climb into the tractor for a souvenir photo or watch the cows being herded into the cowshed, in a friendly, authentic atmosphere. The Holiday cottage's location is ideal for discovering the Tarn and its great sites. Cordes-sur-Ciel, with its medieval streets and spectacular views, is just a few minutes away. Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, welcomes you with its Cathédrale Sainte-Cécile, the thousand-year-old Pont-Vieux and the banks of the Tarn, and the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum in the Palais de la Berbie. Further afield, Carmaux and Cagnac-les-Mines recount the region's industrial history, while Cap Découverte offers leisure activities and thrills in an Unusual setting. Renovated while preserving original features such as oak beams, an old bread oven and an antique sink, the house now offers spacious comfort and total independence.
