In the heart of the town of Les Homps, this lovingly renovated former miners' house immerses you in the history of the Carmaux Basin and its Grande Découverte, while offering modern-day comforts. Access to the Holiday cottage is via an external staircase typical of these dwellings, an emblematic architectural feature of the area, and an immediate reminder of the site's mining past. This singular setting is an interesting starting point for understanding the local identity, before setting off to discover Albi and its World Heritage-listed Episcopal City, Cordes-sur-Ciel or the Vineyard of Gaillac and the Bastides. The Holiday cottage is organized on a single level and offers functional and pleasant spaces for a stay in all simplicity.
The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, capsule coffee machine and full set of crockery. The kitchen opens onto a living area with sofa, TV and dining table. There is a bathroom with shower and washbasin, toilet, and two bedrooms: - the first with a 140 cm double bed and dressing room - the second with two 90 cm single Bunk beds A washing machine and ironing facilities are also available. Household linen is included, with beds made up on arrival, towels and tea towels supplied, as is cleaning at the end of your stay. Outside, you'll enjoy a flat, unfenced garden, ideal for relaxing in fine weather. Garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue are provided for outdoor meals. An enclosed, secure cellar is also available, offering practical storage space.
