Gîte des Calmettes

This renovated former barn welcomes you to an idyllic setting overlooking the Mazamet valley and the Mountain Noire. Conviviality, relaxation and leisure activities are on the agenda for this Tarn getaway.

Cross the famous Passerelle de Mazamet and admire the spectacular view over the valley. History buffs will love the medieval village of Hautpoul and the Cathar Museum. Nature lovers can explore the trails of the Mountain Noire or enjoy the Lake des Montagnès, ideal for a day out with family or friends. Finally, the UNESCO-listed episcopal city of Albi, with its majestic Sainte-Cécile cathedral and picturesque alleyways, is well worth a visit.

Although the house is detached, the owner lives across the street and is always available. As a pet lover, he is happy to accept your pets.

First floor:
The house opens onto a vast living room that combines several spaces: a bar area, a sound system to liven up your evenings, a large table for warm meals, as well as a lounge with discreet TV screen for relaxing moments. A terrace extends the living space outside, with a barbecue. Next door, the large separate kitchen is fully equipped for group meals.

First floor:
A wide hall leads to five comfortable bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room with WC.
- 4 bedrooms with a 160x200 double bed and a 90x200 Bunk beds
- 1 bedroom with a 160x200 double bed and a sofa bed for extra sleeping space.
From this floor, a terrace features a jacuzzi (fee payable) with a breathtaking view over the valley, ideal for relaxing after a busy day.
Please note that beds are not made on arrival.

The Holiday cottage's garden is a playground for the whole family. The infinity pool (15x7m), with its balneotherapy area and paddling pool, promises a breathtaking panoramic view. A wide range of equipment is available to enhance your day: table tennis, table soccer, trampoline, pétanque court, kids' play area and even a squash room for the more sporty.
