Gîte de la Fontaine

In the heart of the Montagne Noire at 600m altitude, in the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc, the Gîte de la Fontaine is open all year round.

In this restored farmhouse, you'll rediscover the cachet of old buildings, combining stone and wood with a touch of modernity! A cool, quiet place in a very natural environment, where you'll find comfort and conviviality!

Set in a wooded park/garden, surrounded by 10 hectares of meadows, the property comprises a large gîte and a studio, which communicate internally and open onto a south-facing terrace:
- the large gîte, which sleeps 10, has a large living room with fully-equipped kitchen, large dining table and small sitting area, 3 bedrooms, each with its own shower room (2 bedrooms with 4 single bunk beds, and one bedroom with a 180cm double bed or 2 90cm single beds)
- the small gîte or studio for 3 people, accessible to people with reduced mobility, with fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with Italian-style shower, 1 double bed (160cm), 1 single bed (or sofa) (90cm).

A room adjoining the gîte has a washing machine and can be used to store bicycles and hiking gear.
Children's play equipment (trampoline, swing, slide) is available in the park.

Self-catering, bed linen and towels are extra. Housekeeping is not compulsory.

On-site equestrian tourism center: l'Etrier de la Montagne Noire, where Yann and Violaine offer horseback rides upon reservation. Lac de st Ferréol and Lac du Lampy nearby, where swimming is permitted. Numerous hiking trails start directly from the gîte.
Not intended for parties, ideal for a stay with friends or family.
