Source Emerald is a magical, eco-friendly, and self-sufficient estate dedicated to the essentials—both physical and symbolic.
Self-sufficiency in electricity and water requires a reasonable balance in water and electricity consumption—a subtle dance between the weather and Wellbeing.
Set on a 10-hectare private estate, this standalone building—with its pond, meadows, streams, and woods—invites you into the heart of nature to unwind, recharge, and find peace, far from the hustle and bustle of a changing world.
We limit occupancy to 8 people for energy efficiency reasons, even though we have sleeping arrangements for 11.
The estate is committed to an energy-efficient approach (with solar panels, phytopurification, filtered spring water, and minimal amenities), with the aim of offering a simple, comfortable, gentle, and mindful experience of disconnecting from the outside world.
There’s no TV or microwave—an invitation to breathe deeply and fully enjoy nature and what truly matters. Marked trails start right from the house.
Just a short walk away, you’ll find Lake des Montagnès and its developed beaches, as well as Mazamet and its Himalayan suspension bridge.
Diane and Marie, longtime soul sisters, share this house, which is divided into three distinct areas.
You’ll be welcomed into a spacious entryway that opens onto a fully equipped kitchen designed in line with the home’s eco-friendly principles (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher), and then onto the large living area on the ground floor, featuring a family dining table and a sitting area by the fireplace.
Upstairs, the spaces are divided into two areas:
- Les Ondines, comprising three bedrooms and a shared restroom.
Bedroom 1 – 2 beds (bed 90x190 on the bottom and bed 90x190 on the top) | Bedrooms 2 and 3 – 1 bunk bed (bunk bed 140x190 on the bottom and bunk bed 90x190 on the top)
- Les Sylphides, with two bedrooms and a shared restroom.
Bedroom 4 – 2 beds (Bed 90x190) | Bedroom 5 – 3 beds (Bed 90x190), including one loft bed
Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
