Welcome to Cordes-sur-Ciel, a medieval town perched on a promontory and voted "Favorite Village of the French". From your Holiday cottage in the Grande Rue de l'Horloge, you'll enjoy an exceptional Location for exploring its cobbled streets, Gothic facades and craftsmen's workshops. At dawn or dusk, the City reveals a unique atmosphere that will appeal to lovers of history and heritage.

The Holiday cottage is located above an original concept shop run by the owner, a few steps from the Porte de l'Horloge leading to the Cité Supérieure.

On the second floor, a vast living room welcomes you with a fully-equipped open kitchen (large stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine) to prepare your meals in total conviviality. The lounge area features a TV, sofa and armchairs. On this level, you'll also find a toilet and access to a pleasant terrace overlooking the Pater Noster staircase.

Second floor: two comfortable bedrooms, dressing room, bathroom with bathtub and toilet
bedroom 1: double bed (160x200 cm) with private bathroom (shower, washbasin)
bedroom 2: two single beds (90x190 cm)
The rooms offer a magnificent view of the Porte de l'Horloge and the surrounding causses.

No garage, but several parking lots are available nearby.
Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning service available at extra cost.

From your Holiday cottage, discover the treasures of the Tarn: Albi and its UNESCO-listed Sainte-Cécile cathedral, the Albigensian bastides and the Vineyards of Gaillac. Hiking, cultural visits and wine tastings will set the pace for your stay. Shops, restaurants and craftsmen's workshops are just a few minutes' walk away, for a practical and authentic stay.

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful village

Sylvie's apartment is a wonderful place to stay in Cordes sur Ciel. It is in the old village but within easy walking distance of the butcher, bolangerie, carrefour and the weekly market. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you need including central ducted air-conditioning which was a blessing in the heatwave. The kitchen, dining, lounge space, toilet and lovely little terrace are on the 1st floor, with 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms and another toilet on the 2nd floor. This is also where the washing machine and dryer are.
Sylvie was very welcoming host and available for any enquiries.
Cordes has very narrow streets. Do not put in the address then follow google maps. We found the best thing to do for parking is park on Rue de la Bouteillerie and then walk. We found parking within 150 m each time. Sylvie will give you a card so you don't have to pay for parking .
