Domaine de La Laugerie - Relais du Consul

Welcome to Castres in the Tarn department! The Relais du Consul Holiday cottage is located on the Domaine de La Laugerie at the gateway to the Sidobre region.

Holiday cottage on the first floor, above the reception room (there are no events when we receive guests in the Holiday cottages), sleeps 4, with 2 bedrooms, accessed by an outside staircase.

A corridor leads to the first bedroom and then to the living room.

Living room with fully-equipped open kitchen (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, induction hob, extractor fan, electric barbecue), dining table, two-seater sofa, two armchairs, china cabinet, coffee table.

The Holiday cottage has been completely renovated and decorated with care. Exposed stone walls, parquet flooring, large bay window in living room.
- First bedroom, two 90x200 beds that can be twinned into one 180x200 bed, private bathroom (shower, basin).
- Second bedroom, two 90x200 beds that can be made into one 180x200 bed, private shower room (shower, basin, WC).
Cotton percale bed linen, comforter, 4 pillows. New bedding.
- Separate toilet

Piscine secured by shutter and barrier (8.5x4.4m, 1.5m deep). Piscine to share. Boules, table tennis, board games available.

We're located at the gateway to the Sidobre, at the very tip of the Massif Central, a granite massif where you can wander among the paths of wonder, legends and the chaos of La Rouquette... and there's no shortage of walks, including from Domaine de La Laugerie. Kids love these night-time guided walks.

Castres is a city steeped in history. Many great names have made Castres history: Pierre de Fermat, the famous mathematician, Marshal Soult of the Empire, Saint Emilie de Villeneuve, canonized by Pope François, Jean Jaurès, whose birthplace it is, Pierre Fabre (the eponymous laboratory), the conductor Georges Prêtre, Abbé Pistre, the "Pope of Rugby", Laurent Jalabert, Laurent Cabrol or the sons of the land, the Synapson group, whom the younger members of the family adore.
