Curvalle

Calm, tranquillity, rest - that's what you've come to Curvalle for.

The old village of Curvalle, nestled at the foot of the cliff, faces the village of Plaisance, in Aveyron, on the other side of the Rance, which meanders here. A verdant, mid-mountain landscape of rounded ridges and forests in the Parc Naturel Régional des Grands Causses.

Lovers of wide open spaces can explore the Tarn or Rance valleys or the Rougier de Camarès on foot or mountain bike, surrounded by chestnut trees. Opposite, the village of Plaisance offers all amenities, and is a lively place in summer.

For lovers of old stones and heritage, nearby are Brousse-le-Château, the Abbey of Sylvanès, the Episcopal City of Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the famous village of Roquefort, and just over the road, the majestic Millau Viaduct.



** THE GITE **
Gîte on three levels, main access by small stone staircase leading to terrace.

Terrace at the foot of the cliff, and small riverside plot (you have to cross the tiny road in front of the gîte).

Upstairs: living room with open-plan kitchen, sitting area, wood-burning stove (wood supplied). Garden level: bedroom (double bed 140x190), private shower room and toilet. Second floor: bedroom (double bed 140x190), + sleeping area for a child (single bed 90x190), bathroom (bath), wc.
