When you stay at this Chalet, set in an oak wood on the causse overlooking the village of Penne and its medieval fortress, you can enjoy your vacation in the heart of nature. Ideal for a family vacation or a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the City, you're in the heart of the woods, a little alone in the world.

The Chalet is located on the Causse de Magrou, on the edge of the Grésigne Forest and the Aveyron Gorges, offering you a wide range of outdoor activities: Hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, climbing, Fishing.

Down below, the village of Penne and its fortress clinging to the rocky outcrop are waiting to be discovered. The fortress can be visited after impressive renovation work. Behind the Forest de Grésigne lies the Pays des Bastides Albigeoises and the Vineyard of Gaillac, with the hilltop villages of Puycelsi, Castelnau-de-Montmiral and the thousand-year-old fortified town of Cordes-sur-Ciel. Further up the Aveyron, you'll find the magnificent villages of Saint-Antonin Noble-Val (with its lovely Sunday morning Market) and Najac, also dominated by an imposing medieval castle.

A little further on, don't miss Albi and its Episcopal City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you'll appreciate the beauty of the sites, the quality of life and the gastronomy of the South-West.
