Au Grain de sel: Tarnese Tuscany and the enchantment of Cordes-sur-Ciel

From this small, bright and comfortable Holiday cottage, ideal for a couple, you'll enjoy all the conveniences of modern life - all shops and services less than 100m away - and just a few hundred steps will take you into the streets and alleys of the Middle Ages.
From the threshold, sipping your coffee, you'll observe the medieval city, spot the Porte de l'Horloge, guess the Portail Peint, the Barbacane will catch your eye and, motionless, you'll take a magnificent journey through time.

During your stay, you'll have plenty of options: you can leave the car behind and set off on one of the many Hiking trails from which the Holiday cottage can be the starting point, or you can take advantage of its excellent location to discover the riches of the surrounding area. Within a radius of less than 25 km, you'll be spoilt for choice: from the characteristic hilltop bastides that encircle the Forest de Grésigne to the episcopal city of Albi, dominated by its brick cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and from the banks of the Cérou to the picturesque Aveyron gorges, from the nearby Gaillac vineyards to the charming villages, churches, lakes, caves and castles....and then, come what may, return to the city, lose yourself in it and discover its architectural and artistic treasures.


THE GITE :
Located at the foot of Cordes-sur-Ciel, on the same site as the owner, with a small enclosed plot.

First floor: large, bright living room and kitchenette.
Upstairs on mezzanine (meunier staircase): two sleeping areas, separated by a shower room (one double bed 140X190cm and one single bed 120X180cm).
Air-conditioning enhances the Holiday cottage's comfort. Washing machine in adjoining storeroom.

The owners will provide you with a free parking badge in front of the Holiday cottage and throughout the Cité de Cordes-sur-Ciel.
