David and Wilma We arrived in Cherbourg by ferry from Ireland the driving through France to Argeles sur Mer on the med. We had planned 3 stops andthis was to be our 3rd.
When we were looking on the Gites de France website, this immediately caught our attention.
It was in the right area, looked great as well as a bit quirky so we booked it.
The photos on the website looked good, but do not do the place justice.
The first thing you notice is the noise, the river cascading over the weir and also through a channel out of the old mill.
Then after climbing the 25 steps to the gite/apartment you get the great view from the terrace over the river to the surrounding countryside, (A 62 motorway glimpses included) but don't worry about any traffic noise...The noise of the rushing water drowns it out and once inside the gite the soundproofing is excellent.
Inside all is modern, clean and well equipped, with three good sized bedrooms and an enormous lounge and kitchen area and the decoration an colour scheme is superb.
This is our style of property and I'm sure will be enjoyed by many others for years to come.- Cleanliness

JE ME PERMETS LA TRADUCTION POUR LES INTERNAUTES. Merci de ce beau témoignage la Direction : "Nous sommes arrivés à Cherbourg en ferry depuis l’Irlande, traversant la France pour se rendre à Argeles sur Mer sur le med. Nous avions prévu 3 arrêts et cela devait être notre 3ème. Lorsque nous regardions sur le site de Gites de France, cela a immédiatement attiré notre attention. C’était dans la bonne zone, avait l’air génial ainsi qu’un peu excentrique alors nous l’avons réservé. Les photos sur le site avaient l’air bien, mais ne rendent pas justice à l’endroit. La première chose que vous remarquez est le bruit, la rivière cascadant sur le déversoir et aussi à travers un canal sortant du vieux moulin. Ensuite, après avoir monté les 25 marches jusqu’au gîte/appartement, vous avez une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse sur la rivière vers la campagne environnante (un aperçu de l’autoroute 62 inclus), mais ne vous inquiétez pas du bruit de la circulation... Le bruit de l’eau qui coule la noie et une fois à l’intérieur du gîte, l’insonorisation est excellente. À l’intérieur, tout est moderne, propre et bien équipé, avec trois chambres de bonne taille et un énorme salon et cuisine et la décoration un schéma de couleurs est superbe. C’est notre style de propriété et je suis sûr qu’elle sera appréciée par beaucoup d’autres pour les années à venir."

Un logement parfait pour une famille de 6.
tout est prévu pour passer un agréablement.
le logement n'est pas très loin de l'autoroute mais la rivière couvre les bruits.
Nous avons eu un très bon accueil par le maire de St-Cirice.
Un jour nous reviendrons en famille pour passer encore de bons moments en ces lieux.

Maison spacieuse, confortable, des espaces bien séparées, un très bel endroit pour passer des moments en famille. Nous y avons fêté, anniversaires et fêtes de fin d'année , l'espace cuisine est parfait, et le salon cosy et confortable pour passer de bons moments avec des jeux de société.
