Its central location in the heart of the département makes it easy to visit both the Sea and the Mountain, with Spain and Barcelona within easy reach, as well as Perpignan. More than 50 major tourist sites are within easy reach, some of them UNESCO sites. The air-conditioned Holiday cottage overlooks the listed site of the Orgues d'Ille-sur-Têt, with free visits and hikes to the wild organs starting from the cottage.

The nearby village, which has been awarded the "petite cité de caractère" and "api cité" labels, is also well worth a visit. Here, you can enjoy an unspoilt setting away from the hustle and bustle of the coastline, while keeping an eye on the Sea, lulled by the sea breeze that cools the garrigue.
