In the Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Catalanes, in the heart of the picturesque hamlet of Rieutort, this Holiday cottage welcomes you in a renovated former semi-detached barn, combining rustic character and modern comfort. Accessible via a partly asphalted lane, it is ideally situated for enjoying the many treasures of the region: high altitude lakes, unspoilt forests and the emblematic peaks of the Pyrénées Orientales. In winter and summer alike, the region is a life-size playground for lovers of the great outdoors. The ski resorts of Formiguères and Les Angles are just a few minutes away, offering Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing and play areas.
In fine weather, hikers will appreciate the itineraries leading to emblematic sites such as the Pic du Péric, overlooking Lake des Bouillouses. Strolls to the Carlit lakes, the Forest de la Matte or the GR10 trail that crosses the region invite you to get away from it all. Cyclists and mountain bikers will also find suitable routes in an unspoilt environment. When it comes to heritage, explore listed medieval villages such as Mont-Louis and Villefranche-de-Conflent.
