From this paradise of the Alberes, between sea and mountain, you will be able to enjoy the pleasures of the beach (those of the Côte Vermeille are only 14 kms away, Collioure is 18 kms away), to stroll in the narrow streets of the typical medieval village of Laroque, to discover the richness of the Catalan Romanesque art or to initiate yourself to oenology by tasting regional wines. As soon as you enter the house, you can go hiking or go to the swimming pool and the tennis court of the Domaine (about 10 minutes on foot). Spain is close : the border is 20 kms away. On the heights of the Albères, in a quiet wooded area, comfortable studio fitted out on the garden level of the owners' house (access to the independent entrance by an outside staircase). Living room with kitchen, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. (90x200) with adjoining shower room (WC). The large bay windows surrounding the living room offer a breathtaking view of the Roussillon. 2 private terraces (one covered with a swing). The swimming pool, the tennis court and the ping-pong table are freely accessible from June to September.

4.8/5Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Marie, la propriétaire, très disponible et très à l'écoute si besoin, mais cependant très discrète. Ce beau gîte bénéficie de toutes les commodités, et est situé dans un cadre remarquable, très calme, et offre une superbe vue au loin sur la mer Méditerranée, tout en étant au pied du massif des Albères. Seul bémol, pour l'accès : l'état de la route depuis le village, en partie déformée.
Niveau activités, il y a le choix entre la plage, à une grosse dizaine de km, la piscine de la résidence,mais qui cette année est fermée en raison de l'arrêté préfectoral sécheresse. Promenades, visites de magnifiques cloîtres et abbayes. Collioures, La Côte Vermeille bien sûr, à faire jusqu'à l'Espagne, vues splendides assurées. Et l'on peut aussi simplement profiter de cette belle terrasse avec vue panoramique en lisant un bon livre sur les transats à disposition.
