Nestled in the heart of the Alberes mountains, Laroque-des-Albères is an authentic Catalan village between the Sea and the Mountain. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy the many marked trails, while culture buffs will discover villages of character, heritage and Vineyards. Nearby, the beaches of Argelès-sur Sea, the village of Collioure and the City of Perpignan are all great places to get away from it all. Its location also makes it easy to reach Spain, while shops, a weekly market, restaurants and Hiking trails make for a pleasant stay. Equipped with all modern conveniences, this former servant's quarters has retained all its charm and offers you, from the moment you arrive, a real bubble of Wellbeing. Its immediate proximity to the Forest makes it the ideal base for Hiking tours. This 17th-century residence, a family heirloom handed down through several generations, has been entirely renovated with care. You'll appreciate its peaceful setting in the heart of the village, just a stone's throw from the church, and will be pleasantly surprised by its large enclosed garden planted with trees and flowers, featuring a lovely shared swimming pool (10 x 4 m, depth 1.60 m), shared by the owners and the tenants of another self-catering property, open from June to September.
You will be welcomed in the Holiday cottage Le Neulos, an apartment located on the 2nd floor, comprising: A kitchen A living room A bedroom: 1 bed 140x190 A shower room Independent WC A common room is at your disposal with washing machine and dryer, shared with the other seasonal rentals. Access to the garden is via an outside staircase. Two seasonal rentals and four year-round rentals share this beautiful building. Free communal parking is available around 150 m away, as well as throughout the village. Bed linen included.
