Between the Sea and the Mountains, in the heart of the Countryside, this renovated former barn welcomes you to an authentic and peaceful setting, on an estate committed to an eco-environmental approach, combining nature, sobriety and the art of living.

Just a stone's throw from the charming medieval village of Montalba-le-Château, not far from the Mediterranean coast, the Pyrenean peaks and Spain. The Domaine de l'Encantade, nestled in a small valley, is accessible from the main road via a 1.5 km asphalt road with a few ruts, and is an 8-hectare organic vineyard and olive-growing estate, where wine and olive oil are produced with passion and respect for the environment. The owners, who are discreet and live on site, perpetuate their traditional know-how, with tastings available on reservation at the winery. Committed to an eco-responsible approach, the estate is powered by solar panels and grazed by cows, guaranteeing authenticity and harmony with nature. This former barn dating from the early 19th century has been entirely renovated with care. Ground floor: Living room: kitchen, living room (sofa bed for 2), wood stove, opening onto its private, unenclosed garden and terrace equipped with garden furniture with benches and wooden table.
The bathroom is equipped with a dry toilet, in keeping with the eco-environmental approach. A miller's staircase leads up to the mezzanine, which opens onto the living room and is equipped with a 140 x 200 bed, with a low ceiling due to architectural constraints. The equipment includes basic household appliances such as an Italian coffee maker. Although the Holiday cottage has no traditional heating system, it is pleasantly warmed by a wood-burning stove, whose gentle, enveloping warmth is enough to create a comfortable, convivial atmosphere.
